Pete
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Established in 2018, Breeze has grown significantly to become one of the largest and most respected independent M&A boutiques in the Midlands region.
We specialize in Company Sales, finding the very best home for our clients and invariably that will be with an International Acquirer/Investor.
‘Our motivation and drive are inspired by our love for the work that we do, but also by our close friend Andy Breeze who tragically lost his fight with cancer in the summer of 2016. Andy was a much-admired deal maker, an absolute gentleman and a wonderfully talented colleague. We do so miss him, and it is in his memory – and as a legacy to him – that we have chosen to have his name above our door’.
Today we have a team of 15, brimming with transaction experience and entirely focused on delivering the very best outcomes for our clients.
We know every opportunity is unique and we tailor our offering for each and every client.
With clients at the heart, our people and tech-stack, we provide tailored solutions which align with their objectives and motivations. Our relentless pursuit of excellence is the driving force behind everything we do; we are dedicated to delivering world class results.
Our Just Cause
Here at Breeze our people share a common purpose based on exemplary ethics and are inspired to help build our business, innovate constantly and deliver sustainable results, whilst thinking like owners.
We pride ourselves on our people, who have a deep sense of responsibility, belonging and safety; we are generous of time, resource and spirit.
As a dynamic privately owned company our success in the world of M&A comes from the priority and investment we make each day in our clients, communities, professional friends and the Breeze team.
We want those close to us to benefit most from our investment which is a result of the brilliant work we aspire to deliver constantly; our clients are at the centre of all that we do.
We are constantly ‘Investing in Communities and changing People’s lives’.
I am truly delighted by our ongoing progress, as we seek to pursue a further step change in performance.
Our priority remains the delivery of world class results for our clients, supported by an ongoing investment in the recruitment of a team of highly experienced Lead Advisors and high calibre support staff to facilitate the expansion of our offering and services for our clients and stakeholders.
Our recruitment strategy remains focussed on providing a cutting edge in all that we do.
It falls to me to ensure that the Board of Breeze understand that it is the responsibility of each member, individually and collectively, to lead and drive clear expectations around our business culture, ethics and standards which are at the core of what we do and how we maintain our competitive advantage.
Breeze has been able to create and implement its own corporate culture “from scratch” without the constraints of archaic and restrictive practices – our clients know we place a very real emphasis on integrity, strong business ethics and quietly delivering the very best advice and the very best results. We understand our clients’ desire for confidentiality and complete discretion remains of paramount importance to us.
I am incredibly proud to be part of the Breeze story and look forward to many more years of success for our team and stakeholders, but most of all for our highly valued clients.
What a year … with so much more expected in 2026
So, our “rude health” continues … the second half of the year saw us get properly into gear, with a further 8 Completions, making for a ‘mid-teens’ result for 2025.
As we start 2026, we have much to deliver on, which is so reassuring and will allow us to invest further; we remain well on track to have delivered £1billion of Breeze deals by the end of Q1.
Indeed, we will shortly be launching Breeze Readiness, designed to support our clients much earlier with their succession plans (could be years away), as well as introducing Transaction Support for our Clients ahead of going to market (yes, we will have our own internal FDD Director).
Moreover, we’ve been taking a serious look at how we make sure we continue to flourish as a business. We’re blessed with a sensational team and I’m over the moon for Pete Wood, who is now our Managing Director and Graeme Gladstone, taking on his new role as Head of M&A.
Away from the day job, we were so pleased to have surpassed our pledge to the Children’s Bereavement Centre, reaching an eye watering £42,000 by the end of the year. We’re delighted to be continuing our support into 2026 and working with their wonderful team.
