On Thursday 10th July, Team Breeze will be walking 34.7km from Breeze House in Nottingham to the Children’s Bereavement Centre in Newark.
It’s a long day on foot but it’s nothing compared to the emotional journey children face when coming to terms with the loss of someone they love.
We’re taking on this challenge to raise awareness and vital funds for The Children’s Bereavement Centre, a remarkable charity offering dedicated support to children and young people who are navigating the pain of grief. Through counselling, creative therapies, and memory-building activities, the centre gives them the tools and safe space to process their emotions and begin to heal.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps the centre continue this life-changing work:
£10 could provide a comfort bear, offering reassurance to a grieving child.
£25 could fund a bereavement session with a trained child counsellor.
£50 could supply crafts and play materials that help children express emotions they may not have words for.
£100 could buy memory books to help them honour and remember their loved ones.
£200 could fund eight one-to-one sessions, offering consistent, specialist support.
We know there are many great causes, and lots of asks, but if this one speaks to you, we’d be immensely grateful for your support. Together, we can help ensure that no child has to walk the path of grief alone.
Thank you for helping us make every step count.
